The DBX2UNI Auto-Insert application allows the designer to extract pattern centroids on an entire PCB design by using the ACCEL EDA DBX (DataBase eXchange) programming interface. The resulting files produced by DBX2UNI can be read by a Universal pick and place machine.

DBX2UNI is a 32-bit program that runs in a Windows 95 environment, and has been updated to work with P-CAD 2001 Version 16 or later.

DBX2UNI uses the ACCEL DataBase eXchange (DBX) Interface to extract the information, and therefore requires P-CAD 200x PCB to be running, as well as the ACCEL DBX Development files to be installed from the ACCEL EDA CD.

There are several user selectable options which give the program flexibility.
