More and more designs are requiring the use of Spiral Traces for Inductors.
DBX2SPT is a program that provides the designer with the power to create these Spiral Traces. It creates not only Circular and Square Spirals, but also Hexagonal and Octagonal Spirals.
The program not only creates the spirals, it calculates the Inductance for these spirals, based upon factors such as the Width, Space, Diameter and Number of Turns of the Spiral.
DBX2SPT is a 32-bit program that runs in a Windows 95/98/XP environment, and has been updated to work with the latest Version of P-CAD.
DBX2SPT uses the ACCEL DataBase eXchange (DBX) Interface to extract the information, and therefore requires P-CAD PCB to be running, as well as the ACCEL DBX Development files to be installed from the P-CAD CD.
There are several user selectable options which give the program flexibility, such as the selection of Spiral Direction, as well as the type of Spiral.
