When writing DBX Programs, it often becomes necessary to see how a particular DBX Function works. It is also handy to actually see the data returned in a particular DBX Structure after a DBX Function call.
DBXTool is a program that provides the programmer with the necessary tool to assist them in writing that program, by allowing them the ability to actually see the Functions in action.
The data produced by DBXTool can then be manipulated real-time, allowing the programmer to see cause-and-effect type relationships.
In the example shown above, it is easy to see the data displayed, and it is conveniently color-coded for clarity and ease of interpretation.
DBXTool is a 32-bit program that runs in a Windows 95/98/XP environment, and has been written to work with P-CAD 2002 - PCB, SCH and LIB.
DBXTool uses the ACCEL DataBase eXchange (DBX) Interface to extract the information,
and therefore requires P-CAD 2002 to be running, as well as the ACCEL DBX Development files
to be installed from the P-CAD 2002 CD.
