While using a CAD tool, it often becomes necessary to document various features used in a Design. Some of these features include the Pads, Vias, and TextStyles used, as well as Layers utilized.
DBX2STY is a program that provides the necessary hard-copy documentation for the designer, that allows them to see just what Pads, Vias, or TextStyles were used in a design.
The Reports produced by DBX2STY can then be printed out and filed with the other hard-copy design documentation, or the Reports can be used to compare with other designs.
DBX2STY is a 32-bit program that runs in a Windows 95/98/XP environment, and has been updated to work with the latest Version of P-CAD.
DBX2STY uses the ACCEL DataBase eXchange (DBX) Interface to extract the information, and therefore requires PCAD PCB to be running, as well as the ACCEL DBX Development files to be installed from the P-CAD CD.
There are several user selectable options which give the program flexibility, such as the selection of Units (Mils or MM), and other options.
