When adding testpoints to a design, sometimes it is desired to place testpoints onto unconnected pins in ACCEL EDA Schematic. This is necessary to achieve 100% netlist testability. After the placement of these single nets, it is then possible to attach testpoints while in the CCT autorouter.
DBX2AddSingleNets is a program that aids the PCB Designer by placing stubs on all unconnected symbol pins in ACCEL EDA Schematic. Each stub is then assigned a unique net name so that it will show up properly in the netlist.
DBX2AddSingleNets can save a designer many hours of tedious manual labor, since it is a computer program and can complete the task much quicker.
DBX2AddSingleNets is a 32-bit program that runs in a Windows 95/98/XP environment, and works with the latest Version of P-CAD.
DBX2AddSingleNets uses the ACCEL DataBase eXchange (DBX) Interface to communicate with the application, and therefore requires ACCEL SCH to be running, as well as the ACCEL DBX Development files to be installed from the ACCEL EDA CD.
