There are times when it would be handy to be able to Highlight various Nets, Pads, or NetClasses within a design. Not only that, it would be nice to Highlight different Nets, Pads or NetClasses, different colors.

DBX2HPN is a program that can fit this requirement. DBX2HPN Highlights based upon user-input. The NetName is selected, the Color, and then the program Highlights the appropriate elements.

The user can then select a new element to be highlighted, and a new Color, and Highlight that element, creating multiple colored Highlighted items.

For example, the user can Highlight the VCC Pads in PCB Blue, and the GND Pads Red.

It is then possible to visually see where all of these Nets are located within a design.

DBX2HPN uses the ACCEL DataBase eXchange (DBX) Interface to communicate with Schematic capture or Printed Circuit designs.

DBX2HPN is a 32-bit program that runs in a Windows 95/98/2000/NT environment, and has been updated to work with the latest version of P-CAD.
